Mrs Uzma Malak, the teacher co-ordinating the project explains, "Year 8 students were keen to create their own news report based on an issue which is important to them. This year the Report was almost entirely prepared during an after school club, despite this students exhibited immense dedication for the project. Producing their own news report gave them an opportunity to acquire hands-on experience of journalism and demonstrate their teamwork skills." 

 Following is what the team members think of the experience:

"We decided to make our news report on the citizenship project that we have been involved in. Being in our different roles as presenters, interviewers, camera crew, editors & directors gave us a taste for how the media works. We have really had a lot of fun making our report we hope you enjoy watching it"
